Podcasts: Mick Jagger at 80
Living Rock God Mick Jagger recently did two podcast interviews to promote the Rolling Stones latest album, Foreign Tongues. His conversations with the New York Times and Conan O'Brien are fascinating, even if you aren't a Stones or classic rock fan.

In the NYT interview, Jagger rejects social pressure to deny that aging takes a toll, and acknowledges that he has to work around some of his limitations, likening it to still being on the soccer team, but now playing goalie instead of forward.
Jagger told Conan O'Brien that even at this point in his inimitable career, he continues to work on mastering new skills, like switching between falsetto and his normal voice in the same verse of a song. How? By listening to Al Green records and attempting to learn Green's technique.
And how is it that Jagger, at 80, can still strut, jump, and run across the stage for an entire concert? He attributes that to his father, who taught young Mick the importance of moving every day and otherwise taking care of himself.
