Terms & Conditions

Effective date: September 15, 2026
Welcome to Next30ATL.
Next30ATL provides journalism, practical resources and information for metro Atlanta adults 50 and older.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Next30ATL.com, our email newsletter and related online features we provide (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are published by Bloomquist Enterprises LLC, referred to here as “Next30ATL,” “we,” “us” or “our.”

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. Separate written agreements may govern advertising, sponsorships, contributor work or other specific services; those agreements control if they conflict with these Terms on the same subject.

Information and professional advice
Our content is provided for general information and education. Articles about health, medications, insurance, retirement, taxes, investments, housing, caregiving and legal matters are not individualized professional advice. Reading our content or communicating with us does not create a medical, financial advisory, attorney-client or other professional relationship.

Consult an appropriately qualified professional about your circumstances before making decisions. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking care because of something you read in the Services. For a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Accuracy and changing information
We aim to publish accurate, useful information, but we cannot guarantee that all content is complete, current or free of errors. Information reflects the circumstances and sources available when it was published or updated.

Event dates, prices, service availability, eligibility requirements, insurance networks, business details and other information can change. Confirm important details directly with the relevant organizer, provider, agency or business before making plans or commitments. Directories and guides are informational resources; inclusion does not guarantee a provider’s qualifications, safety, quality or suitability.

To report an error, contact us using the information below and include a link to the content and an explanation of the concern.

Copyright and permitted sharing
Articles, photographs, graphics, logos, designs and other materials in the Services are owned by Next30ATL or their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may read our content for personal, noncommercial use, share links to our pages and forward a newsletter to friends or family with its attribution and links intact. Rights provided by law, including fair use, remain available.

Except as permitted by law or with the appropriate rights holder’s written permission, you may not republish full articles, reproduce photographs or graphics, sell or redistribute our content, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests an affiliation or endorsement.
Permission to use one item does not extend to other items, particularly third-party photographs or licensed materials. Contact us about reprints, licensing or other uses.

Newsletter subscriptions
When you subscribe, you request to receive the Next30ATL newsletter and any additional communications you expressly select. You may unsubscribe using the link in our emails. Information about how we handle subscriber data appears in our Privacy Policy.

If we introduce paid subscriptions or other paid offerings, the price, billing frequency, renewal terms and cancellation or refund terms will be disclosed before purchase and will be subject to your agreement. These Terms alone do not authorize any charge.

Reader contributions and comments
If you submit a comment, letter intended for publication, photograph or other material for public use, you retain ownership of your contribution. You grant Next30ATL a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, edit for length or clarity, publish, display and distribute it in the Services and in promotion of the related published content. This license lasts while the contribution remains published and for reasonable archival use. A separate contributor agreement controls where one exists.

You must have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the material and grant this license. Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, infringing, threatening, harassing or misleading material, or disclose someone else’s private information without authorization.

We may decline, moderate or remove contributions and are not obligated to publish them. Reader opinions are those of their authors. This publication license does not apply to private correspondence or confidential reporting tips merely because you send them to us. Please arrange confidentiality with us before sending sensitive material; an unsolicited message does not itself establish a confidentiality agreement.

Responsible use
Use the Services lawfully. Do not attempt to compromise their security, introduce malicious software, impersonate others, send spam through our features or interfere with other readers’ access. Do not bypass access controls or use automated tools in ways that disrupt the Services or unlawfully collect content or personal information.

We may restrict access or remove material when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns or violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

Advertising and outside services
The Services may contain advertisements, sponsored content and links to outside websites. Paid advertising and sponsored content will be identified as such. If we receive a commission through an affiliate link, we will disclose that relationship near the relevant recommendation or link.

An advertisement, link or directory entry does not by itself constitute an editorial endorsement. We do not control outside websites or independently guarantee an advertiser’s claims, products or services. Your transactions with outside organizations are between you and those organizations and are governed by their terms. Review their policies and verify relevant claims before purchasing or providing personal information.

Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains our practices concerning personal information, cookies, analytics, newsletter services and other data handling. Please review it on our Privacy page.
These Terms do not replace that policy or any consent required by law.

Availability and limitations of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Services will be free of technical errors or security vulnerabilities.

To the extent permitted by law, Next30ATL and its publisher, staff and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct or other conduct for which applicable law prohibits a limitation. Nothing in these Terms limits your nonwaivable consumer rights.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. Updated Terms will appear on this page with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Services or another appropriate channel.
Changes apply prospectively; where renewed consent is required by law, we will obtain it. Please review this page periodically.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of rights or protections that applicable law makes nonwaivable.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
